Director Institutional Credit Sales

You'll join the Credit Sales team within Institutional Sales, part of Global Markets FIC. We provide risk management and derivative financing solutions to a diverse institutional client base, including Superannuation Funds, Asset Managers, Central Banks, Hedge Funds, Commercial Banks, and other Financial Institutions. We focus on delivering market-leading products where we have a strategic advantage.

• Provide Credit coverage to the Bank's Institutional client base.
• Sell Financials, Corporate, RMBS, and Money Market products, and cross-sell where possible.
• Collaborate with offshore Institutional teams and other Global Markets teams (Structuring, Syndicate, Research, Trading).
• Work closely with other teams within IB&M.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary coverage for an institutional client set and back up other portfolios.
• Help grow the business as a senior team member.
• Understand client needs and deliver risk management solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with Trading and DCM/Syndicate.
• Oversee trading flows and assist with trade booking.
• Support onboarding of new clients.
• Proactively report on market conditions and generate ideas to meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Own and resolve client complaints in line with Bank and GM policy.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a Markets team.
• AFMA and/or other relevant Financial Markets accreditations.
• Experience dealing in FX, Credit, and Rates products.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding of client behaviour and motivations.
• Experience collaborating with trading desks.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, FX options, and Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
