About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Scrum Master
to join a dynamic delivery team within the Queensland Government. In this role, you will facilitate agile ceremonies, support the team in delivering high-quality digital solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across projects.

You'll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear prioritisation and backlog management.
  • Promote transparency and continuous delivery of value.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Track progress and provide regular reporting on sprint performance and delivery metrics.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in government or large enterprise environments (highly regarded).
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
