Release Train Engineer
We are seeking Release Train Engineers to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.
As a Release Train Engineer (EL 2), you'll facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) and Solution Train processes and execution respectively, while closely partnering with the Product Manager, Business areas and IT Delivery owners.
You will align to program level cadence and drive program level ceremonies (Program Increment planning, product management groups, scrum of scrums, release train retrospectives) and work with other program leaders to drive the definition and refinement of the program backlog. You'll coordinate and facilitate strategic decision making to achieve delivery outcomes and build efficiency and effectiveness in how we train and utilise our workforce. You'll escalate impediments, manage risk, help ensure value delivery, and help drive improvement.
In these roles, you will provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to deliver on government and corporate priorities to the Australian community. You'll participate in the Lean-Agile transformation, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets, by assisting the configuration of SAFe to the agency's needs, standardising and documenting practices.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
We embrace the strength of diversity — through our people and the perspectives they bring. We are committed to inclusive recruitment practices and encourage applications from people with disability or neurodivergence, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and individuals from all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the recruitment process.
