We're on the lookout for a reliable and experienced Sous Chef to join our busy café kitchen at The Wickham Boatshed. You'll be part of a four person kitchen team - prepping delicious food and helping create a warm, welcoming vibe for both staff and customers. We're after someone who's calm under pressure, loves good food, and works well with front-of-house staff to keep service flowing and guests happy.

This role would suit a chef looking to swap late nights for daytime hours, with occasional evening functions. If you're organised, upbeat, and ready to be part of a tight-knit crew, we'd love to hear from you.

Required qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Current Food Safety Certificate

Must be available to work weekends, public holidays and occasional evening functions

Candidates must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this position

Can review a request for permanency after a 6 month probation
