The Role:

As our go-to Maintenance Fitter, you'll ensure the seamless operation of all production equipment, plant, and machinery. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and prepare our cutting-edge machinery for peak performance every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and packaging machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues swiftly, replacing faulty parts to keep production humming.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
  • Collaborate with our management team to optimize systems, reduce breakdowns, and drive innovation.
  • Ensure all machinery is production-ready at the start of each day.

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification or certification in a relevant field.
  • Several years of experience maintaining and repairing systems in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment (highly regarded).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a solid understanding of safety regulations.
  • A Restricted Electrical License (or willingness to obtain one – we'll support your training).
  • Bonus points for TIG welding skills and minor fabrication experience.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with a knack for thinking on your feet.
