The Government Records Repository (GRR) is the Commercial Services division of MHNSW, offering records management services to government departments. These services are aligned to the requirements outlined in the State Records Act 1998. The GRR operates a world-class storage facility in the Western Sydney Records Centre (WSRC) in Kingswood, NSW providing for the special storage requirements of records, their retrieval and ultimately their disposal. The GRR was established in 1955 and began operating from the WSRC site in 1974.

- Clerk Grade 7/8. Remuneration package includes salary ($113,574 - $125,720), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Full-time ongoing employment.

What we do
Museums of History NSW brings together a portfolio of iconic museums, rich collections and heritage sites, the nation's oldest archive collection, vital recordkeeping services and expert staff.
We bring history to life by sharing the stories of our places and collections. Through the State Archives Collection, we manage NSW's official documentary heritage, supporting government transparency and the public's right to access information.
These two roles do not just sit side by side – they inform and enrich each other. By preserving and making accessible our places, collections and archives, we create opportunities for people to explore the past and better understand their own place in the world. Museums of History NSW is a state cultural institution, established under the Museums of History NSW Act 2022. It is an agency of the NSW Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS).
What you'll do with us:
This role will supervise and manage multiple teams with their daily operations, projects and services in order to deliver against complex customer and MHNSW requirements while supporting and optimising associated policies, procedures and guidelines to drive quality and efficiency for the organisation and our customers.

What you need to do to apply

What you need to tell us - Targeted questions:
- Describe a project where collaboration across internal and external stakeholders was critical to success. Explain the specific strategies or tools you used to gain momentum across diverse teams.
- How have you approached analysing large volumes of metadata for budgeting or reporting purposes, and what impact did your analysis have on decision-making? Provide specific strategies or tools you used for this analysis.
Essential requirements of the role:
- Detailed knowledge and experience with Records Management or Supply Chain/Logistics Management Projects and Services, including use of packages such as O'Neil Software's RS-SQL, GRRHis, CommServ.
- Experience in a managing multiple team members and projects/services in a high demand environment to agreed timeframes and within cost projections.
- Experience scoping customer requirements, services and projects that are to be delivered in collaboration with multiple functional areas.
- Ability to participate in after-hours call roster, including attending to call outs.
- Capable of physically moving boxes/records of varying sizes and complexity and updating the tracking or records in our systems.
- Have a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances.
