What you'll do
As a Senior Adviser, Policy, you will contribute to strengthening public sector mobility, integrity and capability. Your key responsibilities include developing considered policy options, providing authoritative advice to senior executives and building strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the VPS. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues in the Strategy, Policy, Performance and Integrity Branch and other teams across the VPSC. You will report to the Manager, Policy.
Who we're looking for

You excel in critical thinking and policy development, enabling you to explore complex issues, identify solutions, and communicate clearly. Your experience in stakeholder management will support our team's collaboration with departments and other agencies. Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in public policy or a related field, and have significant experience in a policy role in the public sector.
This is an opportunity to use your policy expertise to support high-quality public services and strengthen the performance of the Victorian public sector.
