National Operations Manager

Venergy Solar is a multi-award-winning, national solar company operating across Australia. Founded in 2009, we've grown into a premium brand trusted by councils, homeowners, and commercial clients across Australia. We make solar easy through high-quality systems, in-house installation teams, and a relentless commitment to our "grandma theory" - we only install products we'd trust in our own grandma's home.
We are seeking a strong, experienced National Operations Manager to lead our operations across Australia. Based in South Australia, this role will oversee all installation teams, scheduling, warehouse/logistics, WHS, and operational performance across all states. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, consistency, safety, and customer experience at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage national installation operations across SA, VIC, NSW, and WA.
- Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and end-to-end operational workflow.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality assurance, and compliance.
- Strengthen WHS culture and ensure national alignment with safety regulations.
- Manage operational KPIs, productivity, and performance reporting.
- Optimise processes to reduce installation timeframes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to align operations with business objectives.
- Build, develop, and mentor teams including state supervisors and installation leads.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to Venergy standards.
- Oversee fleet, warehouse operations, and stock movement nationally.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Ensure all operational risks are identified, monitored, and mitigated.
- Minimum 5 years in operations management, preferably in construction, solar, electrical, or related industries.
- Proven leadership in a national or multi-site operational environment.
- Strong understanding of WHS, electrical compliance, and industry standards.
- Experience managing field teams, technicians, or installers.
- Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency and performance.
- Excellent communication, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes.
- Trade qualification (Electrical) is highly desirable but not essential.
- Project management or business/operations-related tertiary qualifications desirable.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to influence.
