Client is boutique project management business based in Brisbane. They are locally owned business and well known and respected business in the sector proud of their reputation for high quality work and for winning majority of their work through either referrals or repeat work.

They are looking to engage a Senior Project Manager to join the business.

Your new role

The role is traditional client-side project management. They offer some development advisory, but vast majority is working in the traditional project delivery area. So, working with asset owners to help manage their construction projects to budget and time while also managing other risks.

Role is senior level role so requires someone that is able to comfortably manage their portfolio while also engaging with clients, networking and hopefully creating opportunities to win ongoing and further work by exceeding their expectations.

Projects mostly build and sector wise they are broadly in health, education, large retail (shopping centres) and smaller component of industrial works.

Majority of the projects are southeast Queensland, but some maybe further afield within the state.

What you'll need to succeed

Client is looking to engage a Senior Client-Side Project Manager with significant experience of working with similar organisation in South East Queensland. Preference would be networked individual that has some strong networks and relations with clients, contractors, and consultancies locally.

Tertiary qualification in construction is essential barrier to entry, but generally speaking they are looking for a high quality construction consultant, with strong demonstrable experience of delivering projects in south east Queensland. They need someone with outstanding stakeholder skills allied to a great work ethic and a real desire to deliver quality product and exceed clients expectations.

Good tenure would be preferred as would relevant sector experience.

Flexibility to travel intra-state on occasion would be required.
