We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Senior Project Manager
to join our
IT Project Management Office (PMO)
. This role will play a critical part in driving large-scale technology initiatives that support business transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects across multiple business areas.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, PMO standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project teams and junior project managers.
  • Report on project progress to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.

About You

  • Proven experience (7+ years) managing large-scale IT projects, ideally within a PMO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or PMBOK).
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Experience working in complex environments such as higher education, government, or large enterprises will be highly regarded.
