Business is booming, our project list is growing, and we're ready to bring another experienced Estimator on board to keep up with demand. Our current estimating team is flat out, and we need an extra set of expert hands (and eyes for detail) to help us keep delivering the high-quality work we're known for.

If you've got 
construction estimating experience in the carpentry space
 and you love seeing your numbers come to life on site, you'll fit right in. Every day here is different – from quoting a bespoke residential renovation to breaking down a complex commercial fit-out – but it's all in a friendly, down-to-earth team environment.

The W.A Carpentry Company is a family-owned and run business servicing Perth and surrounds. We tackle all aspects of carpentry, from residential renovations to multi-storey commercial builds. Our crew is made up of skilled tradies, sharp admin minds, and people who genuinely care about doing the job right.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing accurate, timely cost estimates for carpentry projects
  • Pricing everything from 1st fix wall & floor framing, roof framing, truss roofing, decking, cladding, balustrading, shed conversions… right through to 2nd fix work like doors, architraves and skirting
  • Liaising with builders, suppliers, and our site teams to keep quotes realistic and achievable
  • Using job management/estimating software (we love 
    Buildxact
     and 
    Buildertrend
     – experience here will earn you brownie points)
  • Staying across industry trends, materials, and methods so your numbers are always on point

About You

  • Must
     have construction/carpentry estimating experience – 
    civil engineers without relevant industry estimating experience need not apply
  • Confident in breaking down project scopes and quantities
  • Detail-focused, organised, and not afraid to chase missing info
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work alongside tradies, clients, and suppliers
  • Able to manage multiple quotes at once without losing accuracy
  • Comfortable with job management software (Buildxact / Buildertrend preferred)
