About the role

We're looking for a Senior Production Performance Analyst to join our team and drive performance across our APLNG portfolio. In this role, you'll be the expert in production surveillance, leading deep dives and strategic initiatives to optimize output. You will also be key to our reporting and analysis for upstream operations, including preparing essential reports for senior leadership and the board.

More about the role:

  • Monitor production performance across the APLNG portfolio, identify insights and areas that require deep dives.
  • Drive production surveillance discipline across APLNG portfolio, ensure appropriate reviews and actions are undertaken.
  • Participate in deep dives as required.
  • Identify and drive strategic initiatives to improve production performance, working collaboratively with the Assets and Asset Services, TA1s to achieve
  • Support Chief Production Engineer to review production performance, using analysis to drive insights and ensure appropriate actions are taken across the portfolio.
  • Complete Upstream operator reporting for APLNG – monthly SCM report and periodic board reports. Support the Assets and Functions in the development of TCM material.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance technologies for production reporting including collaboration with the Digital and Information Systems team to trial new tools and methodologies for reporting and analysis.
  • Work with the Chief Production Engineer to identify and drive opportunities to enhance production across the portfolio. Scope technology trials that will help achieve strategic objectives.

Desirable requirements

  • Experience setting and tracking strategic objectives and performance indicators.

  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and challenge performance trends.

  • Familiarity with reporting systems and tools used for ASX, board, and investor communications.

  • Qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) are highly regarded
