The Venue

Merivale has arrived at the Sydney Cricket Ground and the new Sydney Football Stadium as the 'Exclusive Hospitality Experience Partner'.

Merivale has proudly taken the helm of the multiple outlets across both stadiums. This includes the casual retail for all 'grab and go' to the high-end suites and corporate boxes dotted around the stadiums. This truly diverse offering continues across the many functions and event rooms housed within the multipurpose complexes.

You will find Merivale's celebrated executives chefs Jordan Toft (mim's, Bert's Bar & Brasserie), Dan Hong ( Ms G's & Mr Wong), Mike Egget (Totti's), Ben Greeno (The Paddington, Hotel Centennial) and Vincenzo Biondini (Vinnie's Pizza) bring their expertise into a stadium setting.

The Role

The Operations Manager
 oversees and responsible for shift operations and people management within stadium functions. This role focuses on corporate hospitality events, including suites and boxes, food and beverage operations, logistics and more.

The role reports directly to and supports the 
Head of Operations
 at the Stadiums.

A Merivale 
Operations Manager
 is responsible for leading a large management team driving them to deliver an exceptional guest experience each visit.

This is an exciting opportunity to get your foot in the door of Sydney's largest hospitality business.

Other key responsibilities will also include:

  • Ensure the guest experience is to the Merivale standard
  • Key stakeholder management across sporting codes and hiring partners
  • Build strong professional relationships with all stakeholders across the Merivale group

  • Ensure compliance has a strong focus in delivering the guest experience
  • Leadership, people management and development of talent a key focus area
  • Attention to detail on delivering high standards and exceptional product every time

The Stadiums literally pumps - so as a Senior Manager you will need to be experienced in high volume and not be afraid to drive your teams when the pressure is on.
