The Company: 

people2people are very excited to be working with a leading Australian retail brand to recruit a Merchandising Analyst. Reporting to the Merchandising Lead you will be responsible for obtaining data led insights from analysis and make recommendations to create customer focused merchandising experiences. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative thinker with an analytics, merchandising or data background to build their career with a leading brand 

About the role: 

You will provide shopper intelligence and insights into the customer journey to enhance their shopping experience and store operational productivity. Your insights will determine store layouts, product assortments and increase sales. Working with both internal and external stakeholders you will implement innovative strategies to unlock commercial opportunities and increase growth. 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Previous experience as a merchandising specialist or analyst
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in customer and market insights is desirable
  • Experience in retail and FMCG is desirable
  • Proficient in analysing data to provide market insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
