This role is designed for a strategic HR leader who thrives on solving complex people challenges, shaping culture, and embedding trusted partnerships across the business.

You'll be the go-to expert for employee relations, people systems, and culture shaping, ensuring our processes and tools enable our people to do their best work. Reporting to the General Manager, Credit & Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next evolution of our People function, blending empathy, compliance, and innovation.

What You'll Own

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnering

  • Lead and develop a high-performing People Partnering & Experience team across Australia and the Philippines.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic guidance on employee relations, compliance, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of complex and sensitive ER matters, driving fair, consistent, and values-aligned outcomes.
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, proactive support, and evidence-based HR insights.
  • Manage the end-to-end people policy lifecycle, from design through to delivery.

People Systems & AI-Enabled Transformation

  • Lead the evolution of our people systems and tools to enhance the employee experience through smart, human-centred automation.
  • Design human + AI workflows that remove friction from administrative processes while preserving a personal and empathetic experience.
  • Oversee Lendi's People Systems & Experience AI agents to ensure technology helps deliver fast, accurate, and high-quality support.
  • Promote the responsible and ethical use of AI across our People team, making sure it aligns with our culture and values.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, business partnering, and leadership advisory.
  • Proven capability in navigating complex ER cases, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving people strategies that support business growth and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law; familiarity with the Philippines is a plus.
  • Experience leading distributed or cross-border teams.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with an interest in how digital tools and AI can elevate the HR experience.
  • Exceptional communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
