Our client is a well-respected, successful company who are a leader in their industry. They work with high profile, corporate customers and have delivered consistent growth over many years. With a strong local community focus they currently employ over 900 people and continue to thrive with an ambitious growth strategy.
The role of General Manager People & Culture is a key member of the leadership team. You will partner closely with the CEO and CFO to be involved in executive decision-making processes and lead the HR function to deliver across all strategic and operational Human Resources. With the aim to build a modern, forward focused function that enables the future success of the business your focus will be on implementing new HR capabilities, embedding systems and delivering process improvements to utilise data and tools to grow the business.
This role requires a "hands on" approach. The successful candidate will be a senior HR leader with 15+ years' experience in developing HR strategies and processes and creating organisational development programs and initiatives. You will require strong engagement with the business at an operational level and visible presence on site locations across WA. Your style of working will be practical, humble and no ego and ideally you will also have experience within complex industrial settings.
The role is based in the Perth office however will require your willingness to visit sites on a regular basis, especially in the early months of establishing yourself in the role.
