About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Business Intelligence Developer
to take ownership of designing, building, and optimising our enterprise BI solutions. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transform data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. Success in this role means delivering reliable, scalable, and visually compelling BI solutions using Power BI, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory, while mentoring team members and continuously improving our data capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced
    Power BI
    dashboards, reports, and datasets.
  • Build and manage data pipelines and integrations using
    Azure Data Factory
    and
    Snowflake
    .
  • Optimise BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Implement version control and deployment processes using
    GitHub
    and
    DevOps
    tools.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BI team members.
  • (Nice to have) Work with
    SSIS
    packages and
    Crystal Reports
    for legacy systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise in
    Power BI
    (DAX, Power Query, data modelling, custom visuals).
  • Strong experience with
    Snowflake
    and
    Azure Data Factory
    .
  • Solid SQL skills, including query optimisation and stored procedures.
  • Strong
    data modelling
    skills for data warehouse and analytical systems.
  • Experience with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • (Nice to have) SSIS, Crystal Reports, and experience with other ETL tools.
