Senior Forecasting

Based at our Chefgood Keysborough site, you'll join a team that combines the agility of a small business with the backing of a national brand.

We've created a brand-new role: Senior Forecasting & Production Planner. This is your chance to step into a position designed to bridge the gap between forecasting and production planning - a true blend of data analytics, demand planning, and hands-on operational leadership. You'll see the impact of your decisions on our production floor and in the meals our customers enjoy every day.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape how we plan, forecast, and optimise our production performance. You'll roll up your sleeves, dive into the detail, and make a real impact on how our operations deliver for our customers.

About the Role:

• Lead forecasting, demand planning, and production scheduling to ensure meals are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and speed.
• Use your analytical expertise to provide data-driven insights and support key business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing, Warehouse, and Production teams to align demand with capacity.
• Manage and develop a small support team, to assist in delivering day-to-day planning and reporting.
• Drive process improvements across planning and scheduling tools to optimise efficiency and deliver business outcomes.

About you:

• 5+ years' experience in forecasting, demand planning, or business analytics (ideally FMCG or food manufacturing).
• Proven experience managing direct reports with a hands-on leadership style.
• Strong data analysis skills (Google Sheets/Excel)
• A collaborative, roll-your-sleeves-up approach, happy to get into the details and work across functions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
