Your New Chapter
Step into the role of Veterinary Manager and become the driving force behind the clinical growth of our veterinary clinics. In this dynamic position, your mission is to champion excellence in care standards, nurture talent, tackle profitability challenges, and ensure clinical governance assurance.
As the Veterinary Manager, you will be pivotal in achieving both clinical and business success. You'll work closely with Regional Managers and clinic leaders to set high standards, serving as the voice of veterinary expertise within the regional operations team and shaping strategies for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Veterinary Leadership: Focus on maintaining and enhancing standards of care.
- Legislative Compliance: Ensure all clinics adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
- Development and Education: Drive clinical and team member development.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of community and belonging among veterinary teams and clinics.
- Promotion of Vet Partners: Highlight the benefits of our network and opportunities, such as our Veterinary Training Centre.
- Participation in Veterinary Services: Engage in the wider Veterinary Services group within the business.
- Support Medical Advisory Board: Present and implement protocols and policies from the Medical Advisory Board initiatives.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in recruiting new veterinarians, ensuring they find the right clinic and cultural fit.
Skills, Attributes, And Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Veterinary Science, current Veterinary Board Registration, user's license for Ionising Radiation, and Microchipping.
- Travel: This role requires travel.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in a veterinary leadership role, with the ability to manage caseloads and review standards.
- Collaboration: Exceptional collaboration and team-building skills, including a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Proven ability to coach and mentor others.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Financial Acumen: Confident in understanding and reporting P&L statements.
