About the Opportunity

Based in Sydney, this role is reporting to the NSW Senior Development Manager with a dotted line to the EGM of Developments. This pivotal role will actively manage existing and new land lease community development projects through to completion. The successful candidate will work with project teams to design and deliver completed projects for the operations team to take over.

Accountabilities;

  • Implement the design strategy and the recommendation of design consultants to best suit projects – and managing the design team
  • Review design outcomes and recommending improvements, providing value added solutions when required
  • Manage the tender and construction process, with external builders / contractors
  • Assist, manage and provide guidance to the Sales and Marketing teams to successfully sell projects, both off the plan and during construction
  • Ensure a smooth completion of project between authorities, builder and clients
  • Assist the Operational Management team with handover, client inspections, defects and maintenance issues at completion
  • Have responsibility and complete knowledge of adopted feasibilities and ongoing reporting of these feasibilities and cashflows
  • Conduct fortnightly project coordination meetings and produce bimonthly project control group papers and attend these PCG meetings as required.
  • Preparation of an individual project development reports
  • Contributing to the Group's growth strategy by assisting the team in identifying new opportunities and providing crucial input for feasibility purposes.

What do you bring?

You are a seasoned Development Manager who is currently working in property development. You will be highly familiar with legislation pertaining to the Land Lease community/MHE development. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Estate Master and PowerPoint are a must. You will have a comprehensive background in all the operational aspects of property development which is overlayed with a real appetite for continuous improvement. As a Development Manager for Lincoln place, you will have a natural ability to negotiate and communicate with influence specifically in relation to authorities, builders and clients. You will be a natural collaborator with demonstrable experience working closely with sales and marketing teams to deliver shared results.
