Configuration Analyst

Permanent Full time | Melbourne or Parramatta based | Superannuation & Insurance insudtry background
In this role, you'll be accountable for:

  • Working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and uncover the best configuration solutions.
  • Building, testing, and documenting configuration changes across core registry systems, web platforms, and related applications.
  • Complete Business Requirements where necessary and produce Configuration Specifications.
  • Ensure configuration solution design meets business requirements and solution is understood by Business, Technical Development and Test Teams
  • Supporting BA, technical, development, and testing teams throughout the full
    SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
    .
  • Applying your SQL and systems knowledge to deliver robust, practical outcomes.
  • Troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Investigate and consult on pragmatic alternatives for short, medium, and long-term solutions to a problem
  • Work and collaborate with third and/or vendor parties to deliver integrated system solutions

What you bring in the role:

  • 3+ years' experience as a BA or administrator in
    superannuation and/or insurance
    .
  • Hands-on experience with registry systems and related applications.
  • Working knowledge of
    SQL/Java/Oracle
    and the ability to navigate SDLC processes with confidence.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a knack for identifying process improvements.
