Established in 1998, PII is a trusted one-stop shop for the building and construction needs of the Pacific Islands, importing and exporting a huge array of products from across the globe to our customers in the Pacific Islands.

Qualifications & experience

  • Knowledge of import and export logistics for sea shipments, including incoterms.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Word).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and use initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end export process, including booking shipments, tracking cargo and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, focusing on compliance with trade regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with carriers, suppliers, and vendors to track shipments and resolve logistical issues promptly.
  • Monitor shipment status proactively and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to uphold high service standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
