Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and data-savvy
Digital Marketing Specialist
to join our marketing team in Sydney. This role is primarily focused on the development, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms to drive brand visibility, lead generation, and client acquisition. In addition, the role will support select offline marketing initiatives including brand activations, events, and exhibitions in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and programmatic platforms.
- Work closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and A/B testing strategies.
- Own performance metrics such as CTR, CPL, ROAS, and CPA and provide actionable insights through regular campaign reporting and dashboards.
- Track, report, and drive improvements in business performance metrics including marketing-led FTDs, trading volumes and client acquisition cost (CAC).
- Monitor and optimize SEO strategies (on-page and off-page), working with the content and web teams to drive organic traffic.
- Manage and grow email marketing workflows and lead nurture campaigns via CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment across campaigns, offers, and brand messaging.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new acquisition opportunities.
Offline Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of offline marketing activities including exhibitions, seminars, client meetups, and local sponsorships.
- Liaise with vendors, printers, logistics teams, and event organizers to ensure timely execution of on-ground campaigns.
- Track ROI and engagement from offline activations and ensure brand consistency across touchpoints.
- Occasionally support in-person events as part of the brand team (travel may be required within Australia).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in digital performance marketing, preferably in FX/CFDs, financial services, fintech, or brokerage industries.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and analytics tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Tag Manager, Data Studio, etc.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Good knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-first approach to decision-making.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail and design sensibility.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to contribute to offline initiatives and attend occasional local events or exhibitions.
