About the role
Location: Sensational Kids Kensington, VIC
Type: Permanent Part-Time (4 days) or Full-Time – 30 to 38 hours/week, Mon–Fri
This is a blended role that includes both clinical work and team leadership. As a Clinical Team Leader, you'll support your colleagues to grow and succeed, while continuing to deliver best-practice therapy yourself.
As Clinical Team Leader, you'll:
- Provide general clinical guidance, sharing your expertise to support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians
- Facilitate clinical reviews, debriefs and case discussions
- Support therapists to manage their caseloads effectively and meet professional goals
- Contribute to onboarding and training of new team members
- Monitor and promote team wellbeing, and liaise with management to address emerging needs
- Assist with client triage, resource development, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain a reduced personal caseload, delivering high-quality therapy to a diverse range of children and families
- Collaborate with other Clinical Team Leaders and the broader leadership team to keep improving the way we work
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and staff onboarding
- Collaborate with leadership and management on staff wellbeing, recruitment, and client care
- Provide clinical supervision to other Occupational Therapists (internally and potentially externally)

Essential selection criteria and requirements for the role
- Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Current Working With Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Your own Professional Indemnity Insurance
- 4+ years of clinical experience, with paediatric experience preferred
- A team player with a collaborative spirit and willingness to grow
- Experience working with an NDIS participants caseload
- A collaborative spirit, a strong ethical foundation, and a love for teamwork
- Leadership or supervisory experience within allied health
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in supporting others
- Strong understanding of the NDIA or eagerness to further develop knowledge
- You must be able to work in Australia on a permanent basis
