Service:

Allied and Community Health Service

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:

As a Regional Team Leader, you'll apply your advanced clinical expertise and leadership skills to guide and support Allied Health teams across multiple sites, fostering collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with managers, clinicians, and community stakeholders to develop and implement models of care, workforce initiatives, and quality improvement projects that strengthen regional health outcomes. In this pivotal role, you'll help shape a responsive, sustainable, and community-driven health service that delivers meaningful impact to the people of the Flinders and Upper North region.

About You:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the [relevant Professional Association]. For those professions requiring Registration all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuing professional development program.
  • Provide professional services to client groups in complex situations, applying both generalist and specialist knowledge.
  • Exercise professional judgment in selecting and adapting established methods and techniques.
  • Offer clinical and consultative services across various settings, including individual, group, and health promotion activities.
  • Manage personal workload and support others in workload management, including resource allocation.
