An opportunity has become available to join our legal practice in Shepparton.

In this role the successful candidate will be supporting the principal lawyer on a full time basis.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Diary management, including scheduling of appointments, meetings and conferences
  • Answering the telephone, filtering incoming calls, taking messages
  • Managing new client calls, booking new client appointments, and creating and sending invoices
  • Assisting with the preparation of Court documents
  • Assisting with the preparation of letters to clients
  • File management – ensuring the file is kept up to date
  • Opening and closing files
  • Liaising with clients and other relevant parties
  • General administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning documents and sorting incoming emails
