Reporting to the Site Leader, we are currently seeking a Reliability Supervisor based at our Charmhaven site. Working hours will be on a Monday – Friday roster, with shifts between 7am-7pm.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine technical expertise with team management to ensure plant reliability, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement.
Purpose of the Role
- Oversee repairs and maintenance for plant equipment and site services
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance fitters and electricians
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and reliability improvements
- Form a strong partnership with production to problem solve and achieve maximum plant utilisation to effectively carry out planned proactive reliability activities
- Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely resolution
- Drive safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture
- Manage contractors and ensure compliance with permits and standards
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Min 5+ years in a maintenance supervisory role in a FMCG environment will be highly regarded
- Licenced Electrical trade qualified or degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Working knowledge and experience of PLC Programming is essential
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Highly organised, able to think strategically as well as problem solve
- Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
- Strong adherence to focus on safety (food safety and people safety)
