For over 25 years Jamieson has led the heavy vehicle industry in equipment manufacturing. Specialising in bulk transport services and equipment, we provide technical engineering, designs & modifications to Australia's heavy vehicle organisations associated with mining, quarrying, construction, material handling and others.

Over this time, we have developed an enviable reputation for outstanding customer service and high-quality workmanship, offering a diverse range of products that we manufacture and supply to the transport and mining industry.

We are currently looking for a new Receptionist to join our team.

Your Role

This is a varied and hands-on admin role where you'll play an important part in supporting different areas of the business. Your tasks will include:

  • Answer and directing phone calls to the relevant departments
  • General admin, data entry, scanning, and keeping records up to date
  • Assisting with day to day front office responsibilities
  • Support the sales and management teams with a variety of administrative responsibilities
  • Assisting with general admin support related to accounts and payroll
  • Collect, open and distribute mail

Our ideal candidate

To be successful for this role, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Excellent personal presentation and reliable
  • Is organised, able to prioritise, staying on top of tasks, with a willingness to pitch in where needed
  • Resilient attitude towards handling tasks independently
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Prior work experience in a similar capacity

It would also be a benefit to have the following skills:

  • Prior experience using SAP, Salesforce or similar

The successful candidate must possess strong time management skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities. The role is full time with an immediate start.
