**Position Overview**

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional **Receptionist/Dental Assistant** to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both **front-desk interaction with patients** and **chairside clinical support** for our dentists. You’ll help ensure every patient receives a positive, comfortable, and efficient experience from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. **Training will be provided**, so prior experience is welcome but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:Front Office / Reception Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice software.
- Process payments, handle HICAPS/private health claims, and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Manage recalls, reminders, and appointment follow-ups.
- Support general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and stock ordering.

**Dental Assisting Duties**
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms.
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain infection control standards and sterilisation processes according to ADA and practice protocols.
- Restock surgeries and ensure clinical areas are clean and well-organised.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in dental reception and/or assisting is desirable, but **full training will be provided**.
- Current CPR and Infection Control training certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
