About the Role:

The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing, with key business stakeholder and managing the organization's learning and development strategy. This role ensures that employees across all levels have access to the necessary training, resources, and career development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance. This role will be based in our Adelaide Para Hills West site.

The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with business leaders, HR, and subject matter experts to align learning initiatives with organizational goals, leveraging digital solutions and learning methodologies.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business objectives.

· Identify learning needs across departments and create targeted training programs.

· Evaluate and improve existing learning frameworks, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

· Support leadership development programs, succession planning, and career pathing utilising in house and external providers in line with the Liebherr global competencies.

· Support and manage the approach to early careers at Liebherr.

· Collaborate with HR and business leaders to implement competency frameworks and skills mapping.

· Design, curate, and manage learning programs, including leadership, compliance, and soft skills training.

· Actively lead the Learning and Development team with a 'right person, right seat' approach, creating and reinforcing a high-performance / high-accountability culture.

· Onboarding & training programs in place.

· Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) for content delivery and tracking.

· Drive initiatives that promote a learning culture and continuous professional development.

Essential Requirements:

· Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, sound reasoning and innovative thinking to develop new solutions and efficiencies.

· High level knowledge of learning systems and global competencies. A detail-oriented professional with an understanding of resource planning processes, theories and methodologies.

· Experience managing early careers and development pathways.

· SharePoint, LMS, Microsoft Office Suite experience, SAP Success Factors, Project Management.

· Strong communication, organisation and time management. These candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing. The salary range for this role will be between $100K to $120K base salary plus superannuation.
