About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Data Architect to help shape how our organisation uses data. This role is about creating the blueprint for how data is stored, connected, and used across the business — making sure it's high-quality, secure, and ready to support new technologies like AI.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and technical experts to design data solutions that are practical today and sustainable for the future. It's a hands-on role that combines technical know-how with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.

*What you'll do*

  • Design the overall structure for how data is organised and flows across systems.
  • Guide projects to make sure new systems and upgrades fit with the data strategy.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and integration activities.
  • Keep across new data technologies and recommend the right solutions.
  • Set and maintain standards for data quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Mentor teams and communicate data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

*What will you bring?*

  • Strong experience in data architecture and data modelling.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (ideally Microsoft Fabric).
  • Experience working with both operational and analytical data.
  • An understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance.
  • The ability to balance long-term plans with immediate project needs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
