Located in Tingalpa, Snap Fire Systems, is a proud manufacturer and distributor of passive fire protection products to the building and construction industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The company is a market leader in the Passive Fire Protection sector known for innovation and strong customer support.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable office allrounder for immediate start for a 3 month contract to cover annual leave.

Tasks/Responsibilities

Sales and Debtors

  • Process sales orders and co-ordinate with the warehouse for distribution and liaise with customers as required
  • Generate debtor invoices and issue monthly statements

Purchases and Creditors

  • Issue some non-inventory purchase orders and receipt Inwards goods and services
  • Manage creditor invoices, creditor accounts and payments

Bookkeeping

  • Bookkeeping and accounts administration.
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Post financial transactions to appropriate accounts
  • Prepare Reports for BAS

Other duties

  • Reception duties – including answer phones
  • Assist with ad hoc renewals such insurance and patents renewals

Key Skills, Qualifications and Attributes

  • Available for immediate start or by 14 June
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • The ability to operate in a small business to provide support and coverage in the event of staff absences or capacity constraints
  • Intermediate skills in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail for accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Previous experience with MYOB EXO software highly regarded. Software training will be provided
