Yirara College is seeking EOI for a dedicated and experienced Property Services & Facility Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our facilities across the Alice Springs and Kintore campus.

This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring that all College grounds, buildings, and assets are safe, well-maintained, and fit for purpose. The successful candidate will provide clear direction to the maintenance team, manage external contractors, and oversee both preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the maintenance team across sites.
  • Engaging and coordinating external contractors.
  • Developing and overseeing preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Allocating and monitoring reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Assisting with project management, including upcoming boarding facility upgrades.
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS and College policies.
About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in property or facilities management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage priorities. A trade background or experience in a school or community setting will be highly regarded.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities or property management.
  • Staff supervision and contractor management skills.
  • Strong organisational and scheduling abilities.
  • Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver's licence.

Desirable:

  • Trade qualification or extensive maintenance background.
  • Experience working in schools or remote communities.
