Armstrong Flooring is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and results orientated sales representative to join our residential sales team in southern Queensland.

Armstrong Flooring, Australia's only resilient floor coverings manufacturer, and a key supplier to health and other commercial markets, has an established reputation delivering quality products and customer service excellence.  Having recently been purchased by a well known Australian family, the business is now aggressively increasing its presence in the residential hard flooring market throughout Australia with exciting competitively priced hybrid, LVP and laminate ranges.

The role will be focused on growing and developing Armstrong Flooring's residential flooring business within the region in the vicinity of Tweed to Brisbane river, West to Warwick, Roma and Stanthorpe. This will be achieved by building relationships with and servicing existing residential focused customers while seeking out new customers and business opportunities.

This is a diverse role where you will be building strong strategic long term relationships with retailers and driving sales - ensuring Armstrong Flooring is the brand of choice.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers (both major group and independent)
  • Drive sales and offer superlative level of service and support to Armstrong Flooring's customers
  • Promote Armstrong Flooring's upcoming new product ranges to maximise exposure in retail outlets and grow sales and market share

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience as a sales representative, preferably wholesale and in the flooring industry
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Articulate, responsible and polished approach
  • A results driven, proactive attitude is a must
