We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our Team part-time as an Administrative Assistant at our head office in Karana Downs

About us:

Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years' experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, the Darling and Southern Downs and broader south-east Queensland.

About the Role:

  • General day-to-day duties include:

  • Answering phones

  • Sending / responding to emails (shared inbox management)

  • Assisting team members with administrative duties

  • CEO personal assistance (e.g., schedule meetings, etc.)

  • Assist in preparing and formatting documents, generating reports and updating spreadsheets

  • Filing and archiving

  • Manage office supplies and orders

  • General cleaning and other ad hoc administrative duties, as required

Role Requirements:

  • No experience required, though prior experience in a similar role will be looked upon favourably

  • Be available to work normal business hours and a minimum of 24-hours per week

  • Must have a driver's license and your own reliable vehicle / transport (*Please note, there is no public transport near us)

  • Someone with a friendly and positive outlook, an organised and self-motivated disposition and a focused willingness to learn and contribute within a small team environment

Role Qualities and Learning Outcomes we are looking for:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organised business administration skills with attention to detail

  • Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and related software / technology

  • Capable of working unsupervised and within a small team environment

  • Capacity to handle pressure and work to deadlines

  • Reliable and passionate commitment to assist and help grow the business
