If so, then a Sealy Application Support Officer role could be for you.

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer focused technical analyst interested in joining our on-site Wacol based User Support team as an Application Support Officer.

You will be an integral part of supporting the in-house developed web and mobile ERP solutions for Sealy's manufacturing, financial and distribution systems across the Sealy International Group.

In this role you will:

· Evaluate and diagnose issues

  • Talk to customers to understand the issues in our core applications.
  • Interrogate applications and databases to identify problems.
  • Debug and examine code to validate system functionality and identify root causes.

· Provide fixes and solutions

  • Provide advice on the system.
  • Maintain system configuration and master data.
  • Perform ad-hoc data extracts and data updates.

· Enhance the applications

  • Document bugs and change requests.
  • Propose and script solutions to fix bad data.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy critical ad-hoc hot fixes.
  • Design, build, test, and implement reports.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Programming skills in Java or JavaScript

Highly regarded but not mandatory:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Language abilities in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and/or Korean

· Experience in manufacturing and/or financial systems

You will have great guidance and support from mentors within the Sealy Information Technology team.
