Custom Air Group is an established business 33 years strong, specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs.

We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated & Suitably Experienced - Spare Parts / Inventory Interpreterto join the team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role is Based at our Wacol, Brisbane Fitout centre & requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent Communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the General Manager.

In addition, this person will as required be supporting our internal departments with Inventory control.

To be successful, You will possess:

  • Previous Experience in a similar role or competitor preferred.
  • Receiving, inspecting and organising parts and components
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and updating the database accordingly
  • Processing customer orders, including freight
  • Tracking movement of inventory, conduct stock counts and identify issues such as damaged or missing parts
  • Spare Parts or Parts Interpreting essential
  • Excellent written skills
  • Computer skills, Microsoft office suite
  • Myob experience prefered, but not essential.
  • Forklift ticket - essential
  • Current driver's license - mandatory - Manual Preferred
  • Competent Computer Literacy
  • Warehouse housekeeping skills
  • Basic Mechanical aptitude & ability- preferred
  • Automotive electrical understanding an advantage but not essential.
  • Be clean & well presented.
  • Display strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (automotive preferred but not essential)

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday with opportunity for overtime.
