YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGERS / CLINICAL CODERS
- 1x Ongoing, Part-Time role available, 40 hours per fortnight, with flexibility of working days
- Attractive salary packaging options are available
As a member of the Health Information Management led Coding Services team, you will primarily be responsible for the accurate and timely coding of patient records utilising ICD-10-AM, the Department of Health Admission Criteria requirements, and the Australian Coding Standards (ACS).
In addition to this important task, you will be offered opportunities to work with clinical & research champions working with health data, as well as utilising your knowledge and skills in conducting audits, education and clinical documentation activities related to health information data.
All members of the clinical coding team are set up to work from home once internal training is completed, and all staff work a hybrid of on site and at home hours.
All clinical coding is conducted exclusively using our Epic Electronic Medical Record, which is a shared record across the four Parkville Precinct health services. As such, there is significant interaction with the other health services and the central EMR team, and opportunities to be involved in ongoing development and use of the record across the precinct.
Our Benefits
We offer a range of benefits which support our people both personally and professionally, including:
- Up to $11,660 in salary packaging to increase your take home pay
- Discounted health insurance and eye care
- A comprehensive health and wellbeing program
- Public transport options at our doorstep and end of trip facilities for cyclists
- Onsite eateries and coffee shops and inviting rooftop garden spaces
- Pathways for professional development and new career opportunities
- Five weeks annual leave (pro-rata), 17.5% leave loading and purchased leave options
- Flexible, hybrid working practices
