About Vitalife Co

Vitalife Co is a Melbourne-based allied health practice dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals, maximise their independence, and optimise their quality of life. We provide specialised support for people with acquired and neurodegenerative conditions, and dual diagnosis. We do this by providing tailored, evidence-based occupational therapy services.  

Our practice is grounded in a holistic, client-centred, and culturally responsive approach. We deliver services under NDIS, TAC, and WorkSafe Victoria funding streams, primarily in clients' homes and community environments. Our team is committed to continuous learning and collaborative care, supported by structured professional supervision and development pathways. 

About the role

• This is a full-time Grade 2 position (38 hours per week)
• You will primarily be providing high quality, person centred, evidence informed, community occupational therapy services to people with neurological conditions
• This work involves collaborating with your clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will use your excellent written and verbal skills to achieve this
• In addition to clinical work, you will be actively involved in contributing to service development and practice growth
• You will contribute to an effective supervision and learning culture by promoting excellence, integrity, compassion, and respect

About you

Essential attributes

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA registration required)
• A
  minimum of 2 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation or community-based practice
• Demonstrated strengths in clinical reasoning, time management, organisation, and both written and verbal communication
• You can work independently and in a team, whilst managing a diverse caseload
• You're committed to inclusive, ethical, safe, and evidence-based practice
• You demonstrate curiosity and actively pursue growth to improve practice and contribute to team and organisational development
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Valid Australian Working Rights

Desirable attributes

• Proficiency in assistive technology prescription, home modifications, complex seating and pressure care, neurodevelopmental, mental health, manual handling, or supervision
• Experience working within NDIS, TAC and/or WorkSafe frameworks, including understanding funding rules and reporting requirements
