Our service is built on compassionate, curious, and committed people. We're now seeking a Senior Transformation Manager to join our growth journey—someone who will own major transformation programs end-to-end, forge strategic partnerships that influence the broader system, and champion cutting-edge innovation that positions PYMHWS as a sector leader.
Why Join PYMHWS?
- Be part of building a legacy for youth mental health in Victoria
- Work alongside passionate, visionary leaders in a values-led organisation
- Salary packaging options, up to $11,600 tax free earnings
- Monthly ADO for full time employees
- Flexible working arrangements including remote work options where possible

About the Role:
The Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System is a key reform aiming to rebuild the system and set the foundations for change.
The Senior Transformation Manager will lead critical change activities for the Mental Health Services at PYMHWS. This role will form part of the transformative team and co-lead communication and design of changes within Mental Health. The Senior Transformation Manager will liaise with all stakeholders building foundationally strong relationships, to support and improve the management of change within the organisation whilst ensuring initiatives are continually evaluated and contributing to the changes aim.
What You'll Do:
Drive System Change: Lead transformation initiatives that integrate PYMHWS with sector partners including Department of Health, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Health, and Orygen, positioning PYMHWS as Victoria's leader in youth mental health innovation.
Own Major Programs: Take direct accountability for large-scale transformation projects spanning service redesign, technology implementation, workforce development, and consumer experience enhancement across five metropolitan locations.
Shape the Future: Build and maintain a transformation pipeline informed by cutting-edge research, lived experience insights, and strategic foresight, ensuring PYMHWS remains at the forefront of youth mental health practice.
Lead Strategic Partnerships: Represent PYMHWS in sector forums and government engagement, influencing policy and driving collaborative initiatives that benefit young people across Victoria.
Build Capability: Develop and lead high-performing transformation teams while building organisational capability in change management and innovation across multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
Deliver Results: Establish and drive performance accountability through real-time transformation dashboards linked to strategic KPIs, consumer outcomes, and system-level impact measures.
About You:
A seasoned transformation senior manager with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in health, mental health, or human services environments.
You have moved beyond project management to become a strategic architect of organizational change—with a track record of leading transformation programs that deliver measurable system-wide impact.
Operate effectively across multiple complex systems (clinical, operational, political, community) while driving change that often challenges established ways of working
Motivated by the opportunity to create lasting, positive change for young people while working collaboratively in Victoria's first standalone mental health and wellbeing service for young people.
