Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Tax Accountant located in Carlton, VIC. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing tax documents, handling financial statements, and performing general accounting duties. Day-to-day tasks will involve assessing financial records, ensuring accurate tax filings, advising on tax strategies, and maintaining compliance with local and international tax regulations.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation
  • Expertise in handling Tax and Financial Statements
  • Proficiency in Accounting practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
  • Experience in the construction or property development industry is a plus
  • Software skills in Xero, XPM, Active Workpapers, FYI Docs, NowInfinity
