Carlton, Victoria, Australia Pillar Leaders Full time $60,000 - $100,000 per year

Pillar Leaders is a boutique consulting firm specialising in leadership development and culture transformation. Our vision is a world where how people work together matters as much as what they achieve. As a consultancy, we establish trusted partnerships with organisations to build high-performing cultures that attract great people, create alignment and collaboration, and deliver outstanding results. Through our programs, we drive meaningful behavioural and cultural change within partner organisations, equipping leaders and their teams with the skills necessary for sustained success.

About this Role

We're looking for a Growth & Engagement Lead who thrives on advocating the value of organisational development, loves introducing themselves to new people, is experienced at developing authentic relationships, and would love to work with a team of psychology and leadership professionals.

Reporting to our Head of Partnerships, the Growth & Engagement Lead is responsible for driving new business activity, identifying and introducing Pillar to potential new clients, and partnering with our Senior Consultants to scope and propose new work.

In this role, you'll be the connector between Pillar and the organisations that have leadership and culture challenges that our programs and solutions are designed to solve.

This role's areas of responsibility are:

  • Prospecting & lead nurture: Daily outbound activity (emails, LinkedIn, phone calls) identifying and connecting with new and partner with Senior Consultants to nurture existing leads.
  • List building & first touches: Build and segment target lists, identify key decision-makers, initiate first contact, and connect warm leads with our consulting team for support.
  • Event and partnership coordination: Own the lead nurture event calendar (webinars and events), achieving registration and attendee targets, and acting as point of contact for strategic partnerships to seamlessly integrate referred leads into our pipeline.
  • Pipeline development & proposal support: Qualify accounts and pass warm opportunities to senior consultants for discovery and closing, while supporting the development of proposals to respond promptly to requests.
  • CRM ownership: Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date CRM data.
  • Results-focused: Hit and exceed activity, opportunity, and event KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.

This role is supported by a Head of Partnerships who is accountable for business development and growth across the company and a team of Senior Consultants who actively manage existing accounts, actively collaborate to bring in new leads, attend discovery meetings and scope work, and deliver solutions to clients.

About You

We're looking for a growth professional who sounds like this:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in sales, marketing, BD, or partnerships in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • A natural connector who loves introducing themselves and our organisation to potential new clients.
  • Somebody who has experience working to monthly targets in lead generation, new business development, or pipeline growth.
  • Somebody who has worked in environments servicing medium and large organisations and has experience providing value to senior HR/L&D/OD stakeholders.
  • It's a bonus if you're a passionate advocate for organisational development - if you have qualifications in HR, psychology, management, or organisational development, that is of serious interest to us.
Key Performance Indicators

We understand the importance of being upfront about what success looks like.

The key performance indicators of this role are:

  • Achieving monthly lead generation and introductory meeting targets (set quarterly)
  • Seamless delivery of our lead nurture calendar, including achieving registration and attendance targets
  • Successful coordination of our existing strategic partnerships, including satisfactory feedback from our stakeholders and the successful integration of inbound leads into our pipeline
Why Pillar?

  • Extra Birthday Leave: A bonus paid leave day in the month of your birthday
