About the Role:

As our new Senior Site Manager, you'll take full ownership of the project site — from pre-start through to commissioning, handover and completion. You'll be the driving force on-site, coordinating people, materials, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

You'll work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, client representatives and consultants, maintaining strong relationships built on professionalism, open communication, and trust.

Duties include:

  • Lead site operations across all phases of construction, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and materials to achieve program outcomes.
  • Oversee quality assurance and compliance with project documentation and specifications.
  • Conduct and participate in regular site meetings, safety inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including RFIs, site instructions and daily reports.
  • Build and sustain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
  • Mentor and develop junior site personnel, fostering a positive and productive team culture.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale commercial construction projects (ideally $30m+).
  • Trade background or tertiary qualifications in Building & Construction (Cert IV or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the NCC, building codes, and construction standards.
  • Proficiency with project management and site systems such as Procore and HammerTech.
  • A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements:

  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • White Card
  • First Aid Certification (desirable)
  • Working with Children or willing to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test

As our people are required to attend government, health and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, background police check and working with children clearance is adhered to.
