Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model
- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
- 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.
Job Description
About the Role
Training Services is responsible for providing training progression and comprehensive administrative support to trainees, supervisors and committees involved in the RACP Basic and Advanced training programs across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Our services include advising on program requirements, coordinating the Divisional Clinical Examination in Aotearoa New Zealand, delivering training support for both trainees and supervisors, and supervisor learning support.
The purpose of this role is to provide expert advice and professional operational support to assigned portfolio of training programs. This role is also responsible for supporting committees within a governance framework and ensuring decisions comply with RACP policies and procedures.
This is a part time/contract role (4 days per week) till December 2026.
Key Accountabilities Include
- Provide expert advice and administrative support for assigned portfolio of training programs and cross-team assistance as required
- Create and maintain accurate electronic records, including data entry of trainee applications and assessments.
- Provide professional secretariat support to relevant committees including conjoint committee/s. This includes coordinating, attending and facilitating meetings, and preparing agendas, briefs, minutes, draft reports and correspondence.
- Provide comprehensive and timely responses to member enquiries. Take ownership of each enquiry by understanding the member's needs and providing clear explanations, instructions, or solutions in line with RACP policies and procedures. Ensure that enquiry is addressed and resolved.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders and committees to provide timely advice and support on complex issues relating to specialty training.
- Contribute towards process improvements in a changing environment.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Certificate IV or Diploma of Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills.
- Professional experience in accreditation and/or management of medical or other education/health programs or in a member-based organisation.
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, managing a range of complex tasks in a changing work environment while maintaining an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, including high level written and verbal communication skills, business writing and presentations.
- IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms.
