Temporary Clerk Grade 9/10 position until 31 August 2027 based in Martin Place, Sydney.
About the Team:
The Grants Program Office (GPO) in partnership with NSW Aboriginal Affairs support the program between the Council of Aboriginal Peak Organisations (CAPO) and the NSW Government to deliver on the NSW Closing the Gap (CtG) Partnership Agreement.
About the Role
Join our team as a Senior Program Officer, Grants Compliance and Delivery.
This role supports the delivery of the NSW Closing the Gap partnership by funding grants, working closely with Aboriginal organisations and government partners. You'll lead initiatives that ensure effective grant design, delivery, monitoring, and compliance, contributing to improved outcomes for Aboriginal communities. You have the opportunity to build strong relationships with Aboriginal grant recipients and government partners to support effective delivery and compliance of funding agreements.

We're Looking For
Work Collaboratively: You will encourage a culture that values collaboration, working closely with Aboriginal community organisations to deliver high quality and compliant initiatives.
Grant Administration: You will have experience with grant administration, and knowledge of probity and risk management process. Experience with SmartyGrants will be highly regarded.
Deliver Results: Evaluate policy and program effectiveness and implement innovative approaches to support grantees to achieve compliance and funding deeds.
Plan and Prioritise: You will enjoy working in a complex, compliance focused environment. You will have the research and analyse trends and prioritise strategies to mitigate risks.
