About RISE Retreat
RISE (Resilience, Information, Self-advocacy and Empowerment) Retreat is a four-day event held in Kiama, NSW from 12–15 March 2026. The retreat is designed to bring together young people with endometriosis to explore wellbeing, creativity, and community connection. Through workshops, shared experiences, and open conversations, RISE creates space for participants to feel supported, inspired, and empowered.
What We Do
RISE Retreat is an initiative led by the Australian Endometriosis Foundation, building on a strong history of community-based programs across Australia. Our work has reached thousands of young people through in-person events, support programs, and educational initiatives. The 2026 retreat will bring together participants from across Australia for a free, transformative experience focused on connection, reflection, and growth.

We are seeking individuals with skills and interest in the following areas:
- Event coordination and logistics
- Sponsorship and partnerships
- Content creation (photography, videography, social media)
- Workshop and activity facilitation (preference for those with medical/ social work background)
- Community engagement and lived experience
About You
- Passionate about community, wellbeing, and creating impact;
- Skilled in one or more of the above areas (professional or volunteer experience welcome);
- Collaborative, reliable, and excited to contribute to a collective project; and
