What You'll Be Doing:
Sales & Business Development
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and territories.
· Engage with prospects via calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and site visits.
· Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and tender submissions to secure new projects.
· Meet and exceed sales targets through effective pipeline and account management.
· Build long-term client relationships through ongoing communication and support.
· Represent BlazeCut at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our systems.
Technical Expertise & Project Support
· Work with engineering and product development teams to design and specify fire suppression solutions.
· Assist in developing system designs, calculations, and compliance documentation to relevant standards (e.g., NFPA, EN, AS).
· Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support to customers and distributors.
· Contribute to product development feedback and market insights for continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Customer Experience
· Work closely with our technical and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate with internal departments (operations, marketing, and finance) for seamless delivery.
· Maintain CRM records, prepare sales forecasts, and report on market trends.
· Support marketing campaigns with technical content and application insights.
What We're Looking For:
· Background in engineering (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or similar) or significant technical sales experience.
· Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
· Experience in fire suppression, safety systems, or related industrial products is an advantage.
· Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
· Willing to travel locally and internationally as required.
· Full working rights in Australia.
· Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages an advantage)
· A valid Australian driver's licence.
