As we enter an exciting new chapter of our ABI journey, we are seeking a Key Account Manager to support our new showroom in Marrickville, Sydney.

You will be responsible for maximising sales by developing tailored strategies for key accounts, building client relationships, and expanding our customer base.

What you will be doing:

  • Foster a commitment to ABI Interiors mission, vision, and values while promoting an inclusive environment.
  • Work to grow and maximise sales, leads, and opportunities.
  • Develop customised sales strategies for key accounts, leveraging market insights to align ABI Interiors' offerings and promotions with specific customer needs and project requirements.
  • Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, present our products and services, and support clients in their upcoming projects.
  • Schedule regular client visits to provide training, maintain strong relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and confirm any ABI products are displayed to company standards.
  • Network and engage in cold-calling activities to grow our client base and identify new opportunities.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities.
  • Set, quote, and negotiate prices and terms with clients, ensuring optimal value for both parties.
  • Collaborate with account and tender coordinators to enhance client management and streamline project coordination.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and strategically position ABI Interiors within the market.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer interactions using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular reports to highlight key metrics and progress.
  • Represent ABI Interiors at networking events to develop key relationships and promote the brand.
  • Proactively collaborate with customers, teams, and departments to drive alignment and achieve company objectives.
  • Negotiate deals by collaborating with internal teams and leveraging market insights to achieve sales targets and effectively promote ABI Interiors.
  • Available to work to maximise the ABI experience over 7 days, in various locations where required.

About You:

  • Strong experience in customer facing and sales environments.
  • Excellent customer service, sales skills, and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to ensure all customers are provided expert advice and unparalleled service via phone, email and in person.
  • A proven ability to manage administrative tasks and customer follow-ups accurately.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, inventory management systems, and scheduling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Embody a positive teamwork outlook and collaborative attitude.
