Our client is currently seeking a Product Development Manager to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying new products/services to both internal and external customers. The Product Development Manager will also provide ongoing support for existing products/services and ensure customer success. Responsibilities include managing the development pipeline, allocating resources, refining the Product Development craft, and mentoring engineering staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Leadership team for strategic planning and execution.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer service.
  • Manage a diverse team, driving performance through accountability and leadership.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize their potential.
  • Identify and develop engineering talent through training and recruitment.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to shape product strategy.
  • Manage the Product Development pipeline and prepare financial and timing analyses.
  • Review project timelines and resource allocation for successful product delivery.
  • Implement transparent reporting tools for resource planning and project status.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Utilize best practices and tools for efficient project delivery.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and foster a culture of innovation.
