Looking for a role where you can unleash your creativity in a playful and fast paced environment? This is a rare opportunity to join an Australian brand with a global retail presence, developing innovative, design led products across toys, kids' accessories, drinkware, gifting and general merchandise.

As Senior Product Developer, you'll take full ownership of the product journey from concept and design through to production and delivery. You'll bring a strong sense of trend awareness, commerciality, and creativity, with the ability to turn ideas into fun, high quality, and commercially successful products.

This is a hands on, leadership position where you'll mentor and inspire a small creative team, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and travel for sourcing, trend inspiration, and supplier partnerships.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead product development from concept through to delivery across playful general merchandise categories including toys, accessories, home and gifting
  • Drive creative direction, product innovation, and trend research in collaboration with design and buying teams
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality, timelines, and cost objectives are achieved
  • Manage and mentor junior product team members
  • Travel for sourcing, trade shows, and creative inspiration
  • Deliver product that reflects the brand's playful spirit and global appeal

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in product development, design, or buying within general merchandise, apparel, accessories, or related creative categories
  • Strong end to end product management experience from concept, design, sampling, and costing through to production and delivery
  • A creative thinker who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A folio or snapshot of your favourite product projects (we'd love to see your creative work)
